We are looking for a responsible and attentive concierge to join our team. As a concierge, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our property’s tenants, clients, and visitors. The candidate will have the opportunity to live in our beautiful building.
Salary will be discussed based on the candidate’s experience.
HERE’S WHAT YOUR DAY COULD LOOK LIKE:
- Inspect, monitor, and secure the premises;
- Ensure compliance with building rules and codes and monitor and document the maintenance log;
- Provide customer service and follow up on tenant requests;
- Follow recommended steps in the event of a fire alarm or building evacuation;
- Clean and maintain common areas;
- Dispose of waste in accordance with current municipal regulations;
- Receive materials (light bulbs, de-icing salt, cleaning products, deliver household appliances, etc.);
- Perform various maintenance or routine repairs: touch-up paint and plaster;
- Make adjustments to doors and windows, as well as hardware: door handles, hinges, locks, etc.;
- Perform minor plumbing repairs to ensure proper equipment operation;
- Adjust the heating and air conditioning systems in common areas;
- Remove snow from entrances and exits;
- Plan schedules and organize moving operations (elevator);
- Install new household appliances;
- Perform any other tasks relevant to the duties of superintendent/janitor.
DO YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position or other relevant experience;
- Be organized and resourceful;
- Have a valid driver’s license and a car;
- Have excellent customer service skills;
- Able to adapt to different demands;
