We are looking for a responsible and attentive concierge to join our team. As a concierge, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our residents, clients, and visitors. As a bonus, you’ll have the opportunity to live in a beautiful building! This position requires strong knowledge and skills in renovations and repairs, as well as manual dexterity. You will work 20 hours per week in Châteauguay and 20 hours per week in St-Constant, for a total of 40 hours per week.
Salary will be discussed based on the housing provided and the candidate’s experience.
HERE’S WHAT YOUR DAY COULD LOOK LIKE:
- Inspect, monitor, and secure the premises;
- Ensure compliance with the building’s rules and code of conduct and track and document the maintenance log;
- Provide customer service and follow up on tenant requests;
- Follow recommended steps in the event of a fire alarm or building evacuation;
- Clean and maintain common areas;
- Dispose of waste in accordance with current municipal regulations;
- Receive materials (light bulbs, de-icing salt, cleaning products, appliance deliveries, etc.);
- Carry out various maintenance or routine repairs: touch-up painting and plastering;
- Carry out Adjusting doors and windows, as well as hardware: door handles, hinges, locks, etc.;
- Performing minor plumbing repairs to ensure proper equipment operation;
- Adjusting heating and air conditioning systems in common areas;
- Removing snow from entrances and exits;
- Planning schedules and organizing moves (elevator);
- Installing new appliances;
- Performing any other tasks relevant to the duties of superintendent/janitor.
DO YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS?
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position or any other relevant experience;
- Be organized and resourceful;
- Have excellent customer service skills;
- Able to adapt to different requests;
- Own your own tools;
- Bilingual (Ability to speak with tenants in English)
